Paola’s earrings were influenced by a twelfth century mosaic on the floor of the Santa Giustina Abbey.
The jewel was inspired by the evocative Italian church where Paola and her husband got married.
A handmade object to commemorate their 15th anniversary in a romantic way.
In creating the earring, particular attention was paid to making it light to respect the peculiar frailty of Paola’s lobes that can’t bear heavy earrings.
Also the earring screw back was custom-made, designed like a flower with 8 petals to resume the structure of the mosaic of the church they evoke.
